Compassion. Quality. Teamwork. Skill. Passion. Commitment. Faith.

Our teams have been asked to think about what sets Saint Alphonsus apart in healthcare; we asked, “What is the critical difference?”

Now, we’re sponsoring a series of beautiful short videos, to showcase this difference.

I am often told how the people who work at Saint Alphonsus Health System and our Medical Group love what they do—they love their teams, their patients and there is a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of their patients.

They all agree that here at Saint Alphonsus, our patients aren’t just numbers or names on a chart—they are human beings who deserve to be heard and cared for. This is why our teams work to treat the whole patient; body, mind and spirit.

As Dr. Coughlin so eloquently points out in a recent interview, physicians often get the credit for healthcare. But at Saint Alphonsus, we have a team system. Without nurses, medical assistants, physicians, housekeepers, transport teams, radiology techs and many more who keep the health system functioning, we wouldn’t see improvements in our patients. Each member of our team shares in our success.

I encourage you to take a moment to gather some insight from our team members and hear what the art of medicine means to them.
